The boys and girls of Room 3 are working on developing their spatial awareness at the moment.  They have been playing a game called Turtle Pond.  In this game they need to get the turtle to his pond by giving him directions: forwards, backwards, turn left, turn right.  They also need to count how many steps he should to take.

To make it even more difficult, sometimes there are obstacles like trees and boulders that the turtle needs to walk around.  If you would like to practice at home you can click here.
