First Class Room 9: Ordinal Numbers

Oct 21, 2016

Room 9 have been learning all about ordinal numbers this week. An ordinal number is a number that tells the position of something in a list. Ordinal numbers are in our life everyday. Every week in our class there is a new line leader or a new child in first place. Ordinal numbers can be written both as a word and as a numeral. For some photos of our hand’s on learning please click here. Below is how we write them as words and numerals:

1st       First

2nd     Second

3rd      Third

4th      Fourth

5th      Fifth

6th      Sixth

7th      Seventh

8th      Eighth

9th      Ninth

10th    Tenth
