Room 2 have been learning all about their community over the last few weeks, as well as the ‘c/k’ sound!  They built their own towns, matched different community helpers to the places they work, and were very fortunate to have had two Fire Fighters from the Dublin Fire Brigade visit them yesterday, along with all of their friends in Rooms 1 and 5. Fire Fighters Alan and Karl taught the Junior Infants all about fire safety, and recruited them onto their ‘Fire Safety Team’ for the Winter period, when we have to be so careful of lights and candles in our homes… Well done Room 2 on being excellent community helpers this week 🙂
