Senior Infants Room 4: Special Visitors

Feb 5, 2016

The children in Room 4 were very excited about the special visitors that came to our classroom on Wednesday. We were very lucky to welcome several grandparents as part of our Grandparent’s Day celebrations.  We had written some questions to ask the grandparents – we asked them what they ate for lunch in school, did they have computers, what was their teacher’s name and did they have lettuce when they were small. It was lovely to see the bridging of generations in the classroom. We sang an Irish song and said a poem for all of the grandparents at the end of their visit. We hope they enjoyed the morning as much as we did! A very big thank you to all of our visiting grandparents.
