This week children have been working really hard using the academic language linked to the ‘Garden Centre’ during our oral language lessons. Children have had opportunities to act in role as the cashier and customer, to meet and greet each other and to buy a range of goods from the Garden Centre to include plants, soil,watering cans and flowers! Mrs Swan was really impressed with how well the children worked together and acted in role. Room 1 enjoyed learning about lots of different faiths and beliefs during Inter Faith Week. They worked in pairs to create beautiful Rangoli pictures using pasta, rice and lentils which were displayed in the hall as part of the Diwali display. During this week the children were also officially welcomed into Citywest & Saggart CNS during their Welcoming Ceremony. The children worked really hard preparing for this very important celebration and both their teachers and parents were so proud of them. Well Done Room 1 For more photos please click...

Room 1 have had lots of fun learning about lots of different 2D shapes. They enjoyed going on a shape hunt around the school to find Circles, Squares, Triangles and Rectangles. They have had the opportunity to play lots of interactive games and matching shapes that are the same colour and size . Room 1 worked very hard making their shape crowns and Mrs Swan was so impressed with their shape recognition and matching! For more photos of the children please click...
